2020 CAMP NAKOTA WEEKLY THEMES

June 1-5: Crazy Creatures - Earth is filled with amazing animals, but they are nothing compared to the ones found in our imaginations. Let’s get creative and bring some Crazy Creatures to life!

June 8-12: Game Master - Board games, sports, and video games allow us to connect with friends and have fun! We’ll explore unusual games and even design some of our own.

June 15-19: Splish Splash - Water fun everywhere!  We’ll also visit a water park this week!

June 22-26: Super Sleuths - Our Super Sleuths will use wit and a little science to solve mysteries and crack cases! Let’s get to work, detectives!

June 29–July 2: Night at the Improv - There is a performer in each of us. Let’s take to the stage in this exploration of creative, dramatic, often SILLY performing arts! (Camp will not meet Friday, 7/3)

July 6-10: H2 Oh Yeah! - Water fun everywhere! We’ll also visit a water park this week!

July 13-17: Robots Rise - Technology has given us many modern conveniences, but what about a new friend?  We will imagine a future era when robots rise!

July 20-24: Icky Insects - Most people look down on insects, but a closer look will show there is an amazing world waiting to be discovered.  Let’s investigate together!

July 27-31: This Way to the Beach - Water fun everywhere! We’ll also visit a water park this week!

August 3-7: Wizarding World - Hop on Hogwarts Express, Platform 9 ¾ awaits! Experience the magic world in a world full of wizardry.  Come be sorted into different houses, learn how to create you own wands, make your own striped scarves, learn how to play the game quidditch, and much more.
