YDC Early Learning Programs
The Y's infant-toddler program focuses on the five areas of child development: cognitive, social-emotional, language, fine motor & gross motor development. The infant-toddler daily schedules are based on the needs of the child & the staff are experienced & trained to provide individualized care for all the children in the program.

9:30-10:30am - Activity time including teacher directed activities & center play
10:30-11:30am - Large motor activities including gym time & outdoors
11:30am-12:30pm - Circle time, lunch
12:30-2:30pm - Story time, rest
2:30-3:30pm - Snack, circle time
3:30-4:30pm - Outdoors & teacher directed activities
4:30-6pm - Center play
6pm - Centers close
Each classroom's schedule will vary. Our infant programs base their schedules off of individual feeding & napping schedules.

Youngest full time child is full price, older full time siblings receive a $30/month discount
Breakfast, lunch & afternoon snack provided
Y Preschool meets year-round & strives to serve the whole child, providing stimulation & positive experiences to enhance social, physical & mental development. We place a great deal of emphasis on the child’s self esteem. Y Preschool uses Get Set for School curriculum & focuses on letter, shape & color recognition & each child will participate in structured gym activities & a weekly swimming lesson. Kindergarten Readiness Preschool is intended to build on the skills your child learned in the 3-4 preschool program & helps your child build a foundation for school readiness. Your child will have daily structured gym experiences & a weekly swimming lesson (September-May). This program uses Get Set for School curriculum, which develops early writing, literacy & math skills. Call the YDC Site Director for availability.
