About the Life Center

Age Use Guidelines: Members 10 years & older may work out with an adult immediately present. Members 13 years &older may work out alone. 

Attire: Proper workout attire is required. Closed to athletic shoes are required. No sandals, swimsuits, or clothing that may be deemed YCMA inappropriate. 

Etiquette: If you intend to perform more than one set of repetitions on a machine, please allow others to work through on the equipment as you rest between sets. 

Cardio Equipment: Please show respect & courtesy by limiting your time on all cardio equipment to thirty minutes during peak times or when others are waiting. 

Weights: As a courtesy to all members, when using free weights please return equipment to its proper place at the end of your workout. Unload your bar and re-rack your weights. For the safety of all members & respect for equipment, the dropping of dumbbells & other free-weights will not be tolerated. 

Cell Phones: Please be mindful & respectful of all members & refrain from long phone conversations with the Life Center area & from tying up equipment while texting. The unauthorized use of cell phones or cameras to take photographs or videos of YMCA members or staff is prohibited. 

Cleanliness: It is each member's responsibility to help keep your Life Center clean & clutter free. All members are expected to wipe down equipment & around it after each use. Disinfectant wipes are available throughout the Life Center. 

Food: Closed water bottles are allowed. Food, gum & other beverages are not permitted in the Life Center at any time. 

Personal Belongings: For your safety, please store personal belongings in the locker rooms or designated areas. The Life Center floor & hallway are to remain clear. This includes gym bags, purses, extra clothing, etc. The Y is not responsible for lost or stolen items. 

Personal Trainers: The Y offers Personal Training for our members. Use of non Y Personal Trainers is prohibited withing this facility & may result in loss of membership.

Life Fitness On Demand is a virtual resource on connected cardio machines that allows exercisers to choose a workout category, select a difficulty & pick from a growing library of workouts.

We offer a 10,000 square foot weight & cardio room, a large functional exercise turf section & a dedicated stretching area.
